When you see documentaries like The Flaming Lips ‘Fearless Freaks‘ it’s not hard to see that the first step to any success is belief. Belief in yourself. Just watching all the band members, friends, family speak about the band. Not one comment ‘oh, this will never fly’ or ‘this won’t work’. They believed in what they were doing. Even the anniversary of Lego has the same back story (animation story about the company is here). In both cases, it was a lot of hard work, determination that made them a success (and a lot of hardship) but they became the success that we see today. When people see what you can accomplish, THEY will start to believe in you. In the ‘Fearless Freaks’ documentary, Wayne Coyne said he knew he could try anything when he saw the belief in himself from the fans. But, it starts with one.
